The Confederation Centre of the Arts is located in downtown Charlottetown and is
bordered by Grafton, Queen and Richmond Streets. The Box Office is located at
the corner of Grafton and Queen Streets.
Celebrating 38 years of Canadian art and culture is a National Memorial to the
Fathers of Confederation. Also included in the building is gallery exhibitions,
a licensed restaurant, and guided tours. Since its inception, The Charlottetown
Festival has sought out and commissioned over 66 new Canadian musicals. The most
popular and successful of The Charlottetown Festival musicals remains Anne of
Green Gables - The Musical?. Since its premiere, over 2-million people have
seen Anne of Green Gables - The Musical? at The Charlottetown Festival.

The Festival of Father?s
The Festival of Father?s celebrates the anniversary of the week of the
political negotiations and grand balls that were part of the Charlottetown
Conference of September of 1864. These historic meetings eventually lead to the
creation of Canada.

Prince Edward Island International Shellfish Festival
The Prince Edward Island International Shellfish Festival began in 1996 and has
grown phenomenally. Its theme is Good Friends, Good Times, Good Music and
Lots of World Famous Prince Edward Island Shellfish.
From gourmet chefs to celebrity cooks; first time oyster tasters to world-class
oyster shuckers, the Festival entertains and educates. Expect a lot of Maritime
music as an integral ingredient.
