Every year in late September to mid-October, hundreds of thousands of salmon make their way up the mighty Fraser and Thompson Rivers to spawn. It?s a massive migration and a yearly ritual established well before humans settled the area. The Adams River is also the final home for Chinook, Coho and pink salmon. The 2,440-acre Roderick Haig-Brown Provincial Park and its fine interpretive area explain the salmon?s whole remarkable cycle.

Sunpeaks is one of Canada?s largest ski areas. The superbly groomed Sunpeaks slopes are famous for profuse sunshine, plentiful, skiable snow and an award-winning trail and village design. Sunpeaks offers over 3,600 skiable acres on three mountains, the utmost towering nearly three thousand feet above the village resort. There are runs for everyone, from the most experienced skiers and snowboarders - especially the the expert runs on Mount Morrisey - to novices.
