For a weekend getaway, it's great! Attractive & clean.public pool room, jacuzzi & sauna were terrific! Free parking! Excellent breakfast. Staff helpful, price very reasonable! poor tv reception, but I wasnt there to watch tv! Gorge across the street. A monthly getaway for me to refresh and renew at a great price! I am telling everyone! Rooms a bit dated, but it's ok. Decor is pretty. You need to go outdoors for a minute to get to the pool, but that's really the only downside. Try it!!

Relative to cost (got a great rate on online travel website, lower than AAA rate), location is convenient and is a short walk to the Maid of the Mist. Best to park car at hotel and walk/bus (paid parking is a rip off in the area). Room was clean, bed less than firm, cable TV had poor reception, musty (due to falls?), pool/spa reasonable and clean. Free wi-fi would be an improvement. Would return if budget was our priority.

My wife and I went for our 1st anniv/honeymoon. When we arrived the smell in the hallways reminds me of a motel. The hotel is located about 2 blocks away from the falls and three blocks from Clifton Hill. Free parking a HUGE plus!!! But for a romantic getaway the decor was to old and cheesy for us. Other than that it wasn't a total loss, and we had a lot of fun.
