The hotel is undergoing refurbishing... rugs torn up, finish and detail work not quite done in rooms and halls. No elevator...my room was on the 4th floor. The one really unfortunate thing was that the hot water in the shower was never more then room temp to cold. Hotel staff was pleasant, & helpful.

Best Feature: location

Given the low price that I paid, I thought the hotel was a good value for the money. The carpet in the hall was shabby, and the room was rather small and not in perfect shape, but it was clean and reasonably pleasant. A sign in the hall informed guests that "the management is undergoing some renovation works," so one can expect the decor to improve when renovations are completed. I would stay there again if I were offered a favorable rate.

The hotel is not marked, so you'll need to be sure to find it by address. The room was very small and the shower and toilet are IN the room (behind a curtain). It was clean and cheap and right in the middle of Montreal, perfect for short stays for fun. No amenities, no frills.
